On July 10th, the cruise vessel M/S "Deutschland" called into Esbjerg with 392 passengers on board. During the stay in Esbjerg, the passengers will visit Legoland, Fano and the historical town of Ribe.
M/S "Deutschland" was launched in 1998 and has capacity for 513 passengers. Previously, the vessel has been used as a setting for the German television program "Das Traumschiff", and later this year it will be used as a hotel ship in connection with the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
This is the second cruise vessel calling Esbjerg in 2012, both under the agency of Blue Water Shipping. In August, the M/S "Star Flyer" will call Esbjerg for the second time in 2012, bringing the total amount of cruise vessels up to 3. In 2011 no cruise vessels called Esbjerg.
We are very proud to have been appointed as agents for these vessels, and hope the increase in cruise vessels calling Esbjerg will continue.
