In June 2012, Søren Stougaard and Jacob Kjærgaard of Blue Water Shipping visited those Swedish ports, which are projected to potentially be involved in future offshore wind activities in Sweden. In addition to visiting Swedish ports, a visit was paid to old acquaintances, including AtoB@C Shipping AB, which are seen on the photo.
"Quite a few Swedish projects are planned, large and small ones, which may be of interest to us. From our many previous onshore projects, we are familiar with the Swedish market, and the Swedish ports hold many opportunities for us in this respect. Some investments are of course required, but above all a will to see possibilities, a will which is very much present at the Swedish ports", explains Business Development Manager Jacob Kjærgaard.
Swedish ports are a part of Blue Water Shipping's strategy to be represented I ports with offshore wind activities, and the company has only just recently opened an office in Belfast in connection with projects in the Irish Sea.
