Blue Water Shipping has arranged the transport of 1,471 coated pipes from Logstor Oil & Gas in Denmark to Hartlepool in England. The transport (1,200 tons / 950 cbm) was carried out for our client Saipem Ltd, Sonsub Division, Aberdeen in Scotland.
Project start was on 31 May 2012 and included trucking from the production facilities of Logstor Oil & Gas to the quayside with direct reloading from truck to coaster as well as lashing and securing in accordance with the client's requirements.
The entire operation proceeded as planned. After two days, the loading operation was completed and the coaster ready to leave the Port of Aggersund heading for Hartlepool.
The coaster arrived at Hartlepool as planned and discharging procedures were completed on 5 June.
Handled to great satisfaction of the client, Saipem Ltd, the successful project was a co-operation between Blue Water Shipping's offices in Esbjerg and Aberdeen.
