On 4 June 2012, Sea Cargo's impressive new ro-ro vessel "Sea Cargo Express" called at the port of Hirtshals, location of Blue Water Shipping's northernmost office in Denmark.
The cargo was a yacht which was quickly unloaded from the weather deck and launched in the sea.
The shipping line Sea Cargo has at its disposal a modern fleet of multi-purpose ships ranging from ro-ro to heavy lift and container ships.
"Hirtshals was the seventh port of call for the vessel after its delivery from the ship yard, and it was an amazing sight when it entered the port", says Torben Ovesen, freight forwarder at Blue Water Shipping in Hirtshals, and offers his congratulations to Sea Cargo with the new vessel.
In connection with the port call, Blue Water Shipping in Hirtshals was assigned with the responsibility of unloading the yacht. Such port related services, including clearing, loading and unloading are among the core activities of this office, and its staff handle cargo for regular customers as well as assignments on request.
