11 months of meetings, clarifications and negotiations paid off, as Blue Water was awarded a two year contract with Keppel FELS.
On 24 July 2007, together with 13 other International Freight
Forwarders, Blue Water Singapore received an invitation by Keppel
FELS Ltd to bid for an international Freight Forwarding Contract on
Keppel FELS's drilling package equipment.
Over the last 10 years, Keppel FELS has awarded app. 30 projects
to Blue Water Singapore including the shipping of all drilling
package equipments and consumable equipments from around the world
to Singapore and also including shipping from Singapore to all
Keppel O&M 20 yards worldwide.
After 11 months and many meetings, clarifications, technical
auditing & price negotiations, Keppel FELS decided to award the
two year International Freight Forwarding Service contract covering
continents such as Europe, United Kingdom, Middle East &
Greater China to Blue Water Singapore. Contract signing took place
on 2 June 2008.
Jason Goh, General Manager for Blue Water Singapore, is pleased
that Keppel FELS sees Blue Water as its preferred international
project freight forwarding partner.
