Blue Water Marine & Energy and the Port of Romo have entered
into an agreement on office facilities in the port of Romo on the
South Western coast of Denmark.
Logistics solutions for the windmill industry are one of Blue
Water's main areas of expertise. Based on the plans for
expansion of the Port of Romo, we have decided to place own offices
in the port area.
The handling of large and new vessel types, e.g. those used for
the installation of windmills and offshore steel foundations, are
part of the port's expansion plans - making the port of interest to
Blue Water's project department.
Mikkel Gleerup, Managing Director for the Port of Romo, says: "The
agreement with Blue Water Marine & Energy is extremely
important for the Port of Romo. The company is known as a serious
player in the windmill business and already sports a large
portfolio of clients. Furthermore, the Port of Romo can make good
use of the know-how brought by Blue Water Marine & Energy, as
the company has worked in the business since the year 2000".
